substitutes for rope

hi, i'm new here! i'm very thankful to have found this site.

what are some good substitutes for rope if you're unable to get any or have any lying around?

it doesn't have to support a lot of weight as i am 5'6 and weigh around 95lbs. i can't get any due to not living alone (so i can't order online) as i am very sickly w/ a few chronic illnesses. i have availability to mostly everything though.

any wisdom is appreciated :-)
