Help struggling with wrapping gorilla tape for nn method

does anyone know how i can wrap gorilla tape around my neck in time without struggling? the gorilla tape is strong and hard to wrap around and i have to use all of my strength and it gets tangled as i'm wrapping it. should i just put the socks that i'm using to compress my carotid arteries on the gorilla tape then just wrap it around my neck?
