I would like to place my SN somewhere where no one can find it, and it seems likely that will be outdoors, maybe even under the ground. I am concerned that moister may get into the container, so I am looking for reliable containers.

Does anyone here have recommendations? I figured ideally I would find a small container with a IP9 moisture-proof rating, but I can't find any such container.
I am not confident I have equipment to seal a plastic bag airtight, nor do I know what plastic I could rely on.

I don't really recommend storing it outside, it will need to be stored at least 6ft deep due to temperature control. It has to be underground, and not hidden in a safe place above ground because of higher risk of temperature fluctuations.

Indoors would be best, back of wardrobe or your drawers? I don't think other people will check these very often.

I want my SN to be somewhere where only I could find it even if someone goes looking for it. That's why it can't be inside.
Are temperature fluctuations really such a great concern?

I am thinking I could also store it underwater (if moisture-proof of course) where temperatures fluctuate less. Would that work? What container could I use?

I really wouldn't know a place indoors where I can make sure it won't be found.
Even if I store it indoors I still need a moisture proof container, where can I find one? I can't just reply on any container can I?

Water?! OMG no.

Good luck on finding a place. Will leave it with you to play hide and seek.

I've been struggling to find a way to store some outside as well. I've managed to hide some in a few indoor spots but just want to have another safety net. I don't want to take any chances.

Put it in ziplock bags and inside a book. Like flaten it. The package i got was super flat. Or inside shoes.. tape it to the top part of a drawer. Inside folded clothes... idk

If you've got the money, you could rent a storage locker. Maybe even buy a small incubator and put it in that.

Would SN stored in ziplock bags in a plastic container in a car, during the winter be sufficient to store it.
