Have any of you tried/considered starvation or dehydration as a method? I'm 20F now and was severely anorexic before as a teenager, to the point that it caused heart problems. I knew of other girls in treatment who passed away due to organ failure, etc. The process was obviously painful, emotionally and physically, but no where near as terrifying to me as methods like hanging or drowning. Any opinions or experiences anyone could share? I'm thinking that either starvation or dehydration will be my way to go.

Personally just my opinion, I have not considered starvation or dehydration as a method. For me it would take too long and I think be too uncomfortable.

I have not really considered this method as it sounds so awful dying a slow, painful death, I would rather the ctb process be over quickly. Hanging and drowning sound so horrifying as well, and I am trapped in this world as suicide is so difficult. No one should have to resort to these types of methods to end their suffering, we all deserve the option of a peaceful exit. I'm sorry that it has come to this point for you and I wish you the best in whatever happens.

I don't have firsthand experience, so this won't mean a lot. I'd avoid dehydration, that one sounds worse than starvation. Starvation is doable, you already recognize it'll be painful, etc. It just depends on how long you want something to take, and how willing you are to deal with people trying to intervene.

That's interesting, I've heard online some places that dehydration is often the preferred (and less painful) way of going! I know some anorexics die of severe dehydration also. It takes less time at least. I don't have much experience with it, but I'll try dry fasting soon and can share my experience if anyone is interested.

You could well be right. I just based my idea on reading about dehydration cracking your eyeballs and other horrific stuff. Now I'm not saying that to scare you, not at all, it just stuck with me for some reason. It does take less time—a lot less. Either way, I would wish you as little pain and misery as possible…

Your survival instinct will kick in. I think next to no one would be able to last long enough for it to work. I'd rather just inject air into my veins.

I think it's pretty difficult, especially if you're not used to it. But anorexia does have a really high mortality rate! There's lots of cases of people being able to starve to the point of severe malnutrition or dehydration. I agree that it's not a good method for most people.

Right. Still not something I'd do. I want something quick and relatively painless. I don't want to be here any longer than I have to.

I don't think starvation order dehydration is realistic for most people. Just takes too long with too much suffering and si will just be too much to resist.

That is just my 2 cents though.

It's impossible. Another painful way us desperate people think of to end our torture. Its so hard to die. We're programmed to live. Some Irish prisoners starved themselves to death somehow though. Hate even thinking these things.

After you post some more times you will be able to use the search function. At that point you should search for VSED (short for voluntarily stopping eating and drinking). There has been a lot of prior discussion. In the mean time you can try using google to search that term.

I was anorexic too as a teen but ironically it makes me not want to do that by any means it takes so long to wither away

Food seems to be one of the only things that brings me joy. I couldn't do without drink.
This is a pretty unpleasant and length way to go

I'm thinking of layering multiple methods, like paracetamol overdose, SN and N, dehydration and starvation all together to ensure I really do go and any efforts to save me are further diminished. I'd hate to be "saved" and be braindead or a vegetable.

VSED. Terminally ill people who do it usually get fentanyl patches to easy the suffering.

I've considered this for myself because it is passive. I don't have to actively do anything, just refrain from eating and drinking

Proper N protocol doesn't need to be stacked with anything.

With N, I'm hoping to do everything right and get the right purity and such. There are regional obstacles as suppliers and the law know about people CTBing. I may have to make up some shit like I run a business. I'm still researching and any help is good, I'm going over the guides and such and slowly getting accustomed to the best way to do everything :)

Starvation is at best highly impractical, but likely impossible. It takes several weeks. You would almost certainly be committed. Even if you fought it, you'd probably lose right away but even if you didn't, before dying you'd become too weak and disoriented to continue fighting it. Dehydration is at least plausible, in certain situations. If you live in or can get to a desert, with proper exposure to the elements it could take as little as a day and there is no shortage of undeveloped land to not get found for a while. But it would be a pretty unpleasant death and doesn't appeal to me at all.
