Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I decided to try psychotherapy after my multiple sclerosis diagnosis. I can't handle the burden of everything anymore. No antidepressants though because of my ms therapy — talk only.

Any tips? What would the first session be about? How do I know if the therapist fits me or not?

Any stories? I suppose it didn't work out for most people here. Why? Do therapists just feed you braindead nonsense or something?

Thank you.

Just talk a lot. There are no rules. What makes you unhappy, for example. Just start yapping.

Therapy is completely dependent on chemistry. If you feel during your first session that it isn't for you, it's completely okay to switch therapists, they do understand.

Don't overthink it or worry about what to say. When you get there, just be yourself. They never force you to tell anything if you don't want to.

go there open minded. and try to think it might help you through.

it will be a disappointment if it fails BUT you got a higher chance thinking positive about it.
but it will demand a decent amount of your energy through and willingness
