Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Do they work? I'm not sure in all cases. My doctor has me on 30 mg ofbProzac, then initially 25 mg of seroquel for sleep. But I have actual problems in life. Meds can't fix them. So I recently stopped taking them. Have only been on for about a month anyway. I've been on and off for a while depending on life circumstances.
I also have a follow up Thursday that I may cancel. She knows I've had suicidal thoughts though.
Regardless, opinions? I just feel that for me nothing really changes when I'm on them.

1. Not all SSRIs work the same for everyone. One type that works great for one person could work terribly for someone else. You need to keep trying different ones until you find one that works for you.
2. They take weeks to fully kick in. Taking them for only 1 month does not give you enough time to see if they work. I would try for AT LEAST 6 weeks.
3. Do not randomly stop your SSRIs. Some of them have very nasty side effects if you do not carefully taper off of them.
4. SSRIs do not solve your life problems. Their purpose is to help get your brain to a place where you can be more functional.

It really depends on the person. They work great for some people and not so great for others. You just have to keep trying them to find out.

Thank you for the information. I just think for me it's maybe not really helping. I'm also too sedentary. That would certainly help.

I would recomend you trying different options. SSRIs didn't work that well for me too. They made me more lazy. Because of my suicide thoughts my psychiatrist just kept increasing the dose and then they sometimes made me feel unpleasantly high and sleepy. I stopped taking them. Now I'm talking brintelix which is vortioxetine. It works much better and doesn't make me feel emotionally numb or sleepy.

Antidepressants aren't there to fix your life, but they can make it more digestible if you find the right ones for you.

They're different for everybody, you just need to find the ones for you.

In my case, I was prescribed Escitalopram (Generic for Lexapro) 10mg/day; my first week ever on anti-depressants was HELL - my mood was all over the place, once my body started to tolerate it then it started getting "better".
The only thing has improved is my anxiety but the pain is still present.
