I realized yesterday, after an accident, that I don't want it to be blink-of-an-eye fast when I CTB.

I want to experience it all, and process it- all the thoughts, feelings, and to be able to anticipate the end and say a farewell to myself.

The speed of a gunshot, or something that takes only moments, is not ideal for my tastes.

Are there slower methods that people have heard of? Where one is at least semi conscious up until the end.

Sn though for some it takes them out quick. Depends on the person. But the usual time until lost of consciousness is 15-20 mins.

That is a decent amount of time. Something to give more thought to. Thank you.

Carbon monoxide has its appeal. Some conscious thinking time until you pass out. Painless, from what I understand.

I haven't read on the charcoal method yet.

maybe phenobarbital - it's available if you look - i have 10 grams and it tastes pretty good, because it's so diluted - i have to drink a pint for 10 grams

I should warn you that it isn't exactly the most pleasant method(that would be n). Make sure you do your research and follow the instructions to a t. But like I said depends a lot on the person.

As someone who has tried to ctb using phenobarbital mixed with alcohol and benzodiazepines, i agree with the answer above. Before i fell asleep, I had about ten to fifteen minutes

Throwing benzos in the mix was something I have sourced to help me, too. To steady me and also to help with the method.

JUST large dose of benzos and alcohol was something I had considered.

CO can make you unconscious in less than a minute, if you get the CO concentration level up near 12000 PPM, so not exactly leaving you much time for reflection.
