Mining for copium in the weirdest places.

Every day I'm acclimating myself more to the idea of dying. I like this, it isn't bitter, it isn't desperate, it isn't resentful. Those feelings are still with me, but they are somehow removed from the concept of me dying. That image is far more peaceful and resigned than the feelings I have towards actually trying to build myself a place in a world I deeply and chronically hate. I'm not suicidal, but something is working in my subconscious, preparing me for death.
When I'm around people I sometimes imagine them eating, defecating, fucking. Children will be spawn, noisy, vital and hopeful, children that will become ill, injured or old, and then die. Billions of animals will be slaughtered and cleanly converted into food. Lies will be believed, group interests will collide, free thinkers will feel the cold of loneliness. Books will be written fruitlessly, things will be forgotten, genes will reign supreme. Perhaps something interesting will happen at some point.
Many of you don't and won't know, but what the elite pulled off with "Covid-19" unequivocally proved true what people like Dane Wigginton and other conspiracy realists have been saying for decades: the elite is motivated to decrease personal autonomy, make industry, science, entertainment and government part of one entity and reduce the world population significantly. The police state rehearsed during lockdowns etc will be implemented in the near future, and something will be done to cull populations drastically.
I say all this because you don't need to be suicidal: you will either die in the next decade or become a cog in a society where there is no dignity and no truth.
This is why my subconscious is preparing me for death. And at any rate, as Socrates correctly stated, the only real task of the philosopher is to prepare himself for death, even without a fucked up personal life or a dystopian future.
