I don't want people to suffer as much as I have. I had zero medical help for the most part so here's what works and helps me, MOST of this is available otc pretty much. I take it most GP baddies here are at their wits end looking for a solution to the pain. So I offer my help here first. I'm sorry the medical system failed you too.

you can use an app like Circle medical to get some of these prescribed easier w/o seeing a GI specialist. Even w/o insurance

-Dramamine Nausea about 10$
My lifeline for nausea, I grew a tolerance for Zofran and my doctor refused to give me any other medications. Not to mention Zofran just made me physically unable to throw up. I would dry heave into the toilet for hours. DO NOT get the motion sickness ones for regular nausea. The green box one that I linked is the best one for regular GP nausea. Dramamine ginger chews are good in case of emergencies.

-Digestive enzymes about $27
I'm finally able to eat more food with this, not a cure but it makes life liveable. I take one when I eat and one 4-5 hours after eating and if I need to take more after that I do. Seems to help stop the fermentation in my stomach

-Ginger root supplements about $22
Super helpful for nausea and digestion. Can take 3x per day. Will thin your blood, if you self harm be careful your blood won't clot as easy.

-Gas-X about 19$
Saved my ass, feeling like you're having a flare? Eat 4 it works almost immediately. This is one of the things I can't live without. It's worth the price. You can have up to 400mg per day ircc.

-Linzess 145mcg ???
Pretty helpful makes me feel a bit bloated sometimes tho, it's a laxative, otc laxatives help too if your issue is that your not shitting. You have to drink a lot of water to have good effects though. If I don't take it I get worse so ig it works??

-Famotidine otc tablets $5-$13+
20mg is the otc dose, if you need you can take 2 doses to get 40mg which is safe still. You can take 80mg per day safely. Helped me with the acid. Name brand like peptic AC available too.

-Omeprazole $12-$24
Any PPI will help. I take pantoprazole which I couldn't find on the website but I think I saw it in the store, I take 20mg of it but you can take 40mg twice per day if you need. Esomeparazol , Lansoprazol also work, Any PPI will help you after a few weeks.

-Pepto-bismol $13
Having a flare up? Helps a bit with nausea, diarrhea, and bloating. I take up to 4 at once during a bad flare…

More things that helped me!
-no milk/cream, cheese is somewhat okay in moderation. I mostly use plant based stuff
-soup, sprout grocery store has some amazing soups
-Chinese medicine, it's a hit or miss but it helps a lot.
-Low acidity diet, I try to stick to foods that have a ph of 6-7+
-fish instead of beef, fish is easy to digest
-no spicy food at all, makes me sad but if I have any I start to feel bile come up.

shit that didn't work
-The "low residue diet" I was given, it felt like they were trying to kill me by telling me to eat only processed food. But I recommend finding a dietitian if you can and experimenting to see what works best for you

-Metoclopramide/Reglan, this shit made my life hell. It barely worked just made me less nauseous. But I slept for days I could barely stay awake for more then 2 hours at a time on 15mg. I was so tired I almost crashed while driving while the effects were wearing off after I took it. Not to mention my hands started to shake. If your not careful you could permanently fuck yourself with a tremor disorder similar to Parkinson's

-Zofran, prepare to dry heave for hours begging to throw up but be unable to once you gain a tolerance.

-doctors. If your female and young it's gonna suck.. I'm sorry… I don't have much advice on this one. Cities up north are better. If you live in the city you'll have better chances if your rural especially down south you'll have to mostly fight on your own unless you get lucky..

That's all I have for now. It's painful it sucks. I pray mine will go away. Mine was caused by the shock of stopping 100mg of Zoloft… it's been 7 months I grieve the life I had I'm only sticking around for my girlfriend and in hopes that this new year will be a true reset, the year ends on a Saturday… I hope I hope this hell will end. I don't know how much longer I can keep lying to myself that tomorrow it will all go away.
