Well I kind of liked that there is supposedly thus far no antidote so not sure what a hospital could do and it's not like sodium azide's caustic lethal fumes. It's legal and if you don't have SN...

Even in book that has been mentioned sodium selenite is not peaceful. Let forget this method
I imagine there will probably not be any big movements to ban SS (haha)-Sodium Selenite?
It probably won't bother them as much when people are using a less peaceful way, like this one instead of SN?

Yeah, you've got a point. The law probably won't care. If you put into google ("sodium selenite" lethal) a report about them using it on animals is there. Everything from horses to pigs... I used to take selenium supplements so the idea doesn't bother me as much. Though I was hoping for something better on ppeh as it is called peaceful pill. But he also never recommends anything like hanging because of the "trauma".
And there still seems to be not quite enough info yet like do you make two glasses of it in case you throw up? If you vomit it up how much still stays in your system. Are there any long term or short term consequences if not enough stays in your system...and you live... because some of those animals lived and I guess were mostly fine. Will they develop an antidote? If I could get on the forum I would ask pp. We have some people here who are over 50 who can be on the forum. Maybe they will ask if pp knows...

Well SN is nearly "perfect" It's hard to beat it. I'm glad that they update the book with new info, this can be used too as a warning in case someone want to try it without knowing the side effects.

I don't get what point there is to them updating the manual with methods that are less desirable, less effective, and harder to obtain and then touting it as some sort of "exciting new development"

N is the best. But there are decent alternatives depending. SN is good for those with little money. But N is more peaceful.

The thought of even hanging or drowning myself and struggling to breath for mere minutes freaks me out. How am I gonna down all that and wait 7 painful hours to die?

Well, since this compound is now publicized in the PPH I assume we'll hear more and more stories of people suiciding with SS as time goes by. At some point there will be enough cases to deduce some basic info about this method, like the things you mention. But I assume this is going to take years (after all most people are happy enough with SN).

i got a bad gut ache the other day and i had all the symptoms in the book - diahrea, abdomen pains, watery mouth, vomiting.
i thought "shit. its.gona be like that for like 6 - 24 hours. amazing"
at this rate, um gona need to find a big open field that no one is gona come into, in order to make this work. Because likely, im yona be wailing
