It's reassuring (for those of us on SS) to see that SN suicide works and is getting into the news. It's no longer just word-of-mouth or conjecture. Anyone have other news stories mentioning SN deaths?

I do believe these have all been posted before. But I guess newbies may not have seen- so no harm done in a re-post/ collating them.

Apologies for any reposts, but would be good to have them all collected in one place. Makes the SN a lot more legit in users minds rather than the 4-6 observed case studies in the Peaceful Pill Handbook

It think it's really tough to come to grips with the efficacy of SN based on the hearsay of PPH and then the people reporting here, and we have as many threads saying that people failed SN as we have threads where people succeeded.

The only thing I would add, is that I think most people that are really determined and gonna go with this would most likely look it up staight away anyway- it was one of the first things I did anyway!

I'd definitely get your SN kit sorted, but it's not like N where they can ban all the elements - the salt is very common in food processing and the antiemetic / antacid are very common unrelated prescribed drugs

Yeah well I've got half a kg, just to be sure - even though it's my backup method - and the fact that it's actually used in meat processing (and a legal consumable substance) makes it a lot harder to limit access to than N, only used by vets nowadays. Don't see this dissapearing soon

You don't have to worry about it. SN is only lethal when you consume over the recommended amount, and that goes *against* its intended usage. People outside of SS would classify that as SN "abuse". Lots of things could potentially be lethal, too. Knives, guns, antifreeze, and even detergent. It all depends on the user and how they use them. The government doesn't place bans on things that could potentially be "abused" as a CTB method.
