So I have been on 10 days meditation retreat

I have been on 10 day vipasana meditation retreat in hope that maybe it will help me with my crippling anxiety and social phobia. 10 days of silence made my social phobia even worse, I am constantly feeling like being on a small dose of shrooms, weird retrospectives happening in my head all the time, sharpened perception to uncomfortable levels. Every method of recovery I tried fucks me up even more, e.g. when I tried therapy I almost CTB.

That sounds really horrible what you have to endure, it's certainly so unfair and awful when what we go through just gets worse and worse. To me therapy just sounds like a scam to profit off people's suffering so I'm not surprised that it made you want to die even more. But anyway I wish you the best of luck.

I wouln't discredit this entirely. It may help a person or it may not. Many people have been helped by for example vipassana meditation
