Story so. don't drink your sn for "testing"

hey everyone just a little stupid thing I did and I'm writing here for anyone else to not redo what I have done.

I was curious and didn't really want to ctb yet, as I was under pressure of my friends and they did not wanted me to do it. but I really wanted/were curious to test how would sn do to me.

I drank roughly 0.5g of sn in 50ml of water.
my symptoms were exactly as you would expect, nausea, throwing up, cyanosis, headache and lightheaded.

I threw up once and my body was black.
now here's where I fucked up. and I think I shouldn't have.
I told my family about that I drank poison. hell broke down, I went to hospital they washed my stomach sent tube from my nose to my stomach, lots of iv inside of me and I was in hospital for roughly around 2-3 days.
It was PAINFUL and really really uncomfortable. and so was sn tbh. don't underestimate it's not painful, but it feels really bad regardless of it being not painful.

so lesson. don't drink sn for testing.
now I probably will have some therapists and stuff which I'll have to talk to once every week.
I'll also probably will stop checking this website to maybe I could heal myself.

60+ mins when I was at hospital my blood oxygen levels were 75%
after throwing up multiple times and after like 30 mins of that so around 2houe mark my oxygen stabilized at 85%
and after that it was alright. and I started to recover

Thank you for sharing your cautionary tale. Do NOT drink test SN!!!

If you want to taste test SN, try dissolving regular salt (not SN) in 50-100mL of water (the taste should be identical). You can swallow it, but it will cause symptoms for a while. Best to just keep it in your mouth for a bit and spit it out.

If you want to test the effects of SN, don't. Just DON'T. Very likely to end up in hospital. Possibility of accidental CTB too. SN is very powerful and should not be messed around with!

Did you fast? I took 1 gram before and it was nothing like this. Someone took 2 grams (nearly died) and didn't say it was painful or it was bad.

But yeah don't test SN by drinking it.

You mentioned it was really bad regardless of it being not painful. Could you please elaborate more? In which ways was it "bad"? What did you feel exactly?

I second the suggestion above of throwing away the sn if the impulsively is recurrent. It won't be worth having it around if you have plans for recovery and you endup accidentally or impulsively dying from it.

Testing with too much regular salt is dangerous too. Don't try to test it with 25g salt to match the sn amount, it will make you sick and suffer.

bumping this one. never ever drink test etc your sn. aquarium tests only. this shouldn't ever be seen as a self harm method.

OP, I am so thankful you're ok (relative, I know) and able to share this with the community. I think we need reminders of why this is an awful idea but I hate when someone has to go through it. keep drinking water and moving around as much as you're able. be easy on yourself. we're here for you, whatever you need

mainly cause of just how it feels.

it could be because I was also heavily sleep deprived as it was around 5am at the time of me doing it.

but still, it made me feel really light headed and I couldn't focus, I couldn't answer simple questions and I was slowly feeling myself lose grip on reality (like sleeping somewhat)
it was scary "bad" in a sense that I knew if I had to sleep I would probably like just maybe end up not waking up. so I was somewhat also really scared.
my heart was beating fast and it was quite the uncomfy experience.

but generally it was fear. for me. I didn't had taken ANY pills before testing that sn. just for sake of saying. so yeah I was feeling it all. and for one it was making me quite anxious and stressed

Well, that said, I guess the recommended SN intake (25g per 50 ml of water) does the trick, like quick, and maybe, almost painless.
