Help SN with half a stomach?

Hi all. I hope there's someone knowledgeable that can help me with my complicated body/health and if it affects how I'll absorb SN.

I had pancreatic cancer 8 years ago and had Whipple surgery where I had half my pancreas, half my stomach, part of my intestines, my duodenum, and my gallbladder removed. For my body to properly process food I have to take pancreatic enzymes (Zenpep).

Will any of this affect how my body absorbs SN? Of course there's no research out there and it's kinda specific, but I have hope that someone on here has an idea.

I'm so sorry for what you had to endure, seems you passed by terrible moments.

As for your question, I think it will be hard for anyone to answer as your case is kind of unique. SN acting literally like a "poison" I don't believe that a body not processing correctly food would be immune to it, but it's a good question.

I had a sleeve gastrectomy and gallbladder removal 9 years ago and from personal experience i can tell you that the removal of the gallbladder and pancreas does not affect you. The lack of duodenum will basically make the stomach clear the sn faster towards the intestines where it needs to be absorbed. The tricky part is the intestine itself, what amount of it has been removed.



Honestly, after 3 years of medschool i think i could tell you that the odds might be in your favour on this one.
