Can't they find out where you live still though?
that is a good point.
@Blueberry Panic, do you have any other suggestions?
There may be laws protecting PO Box as they often only by businesses of all sizes, which may make this work, but I'm not sure on that.
Is so strange to me that some US people have gotten checked like this.
Sending mental health professionals to check on you after buying a substance that isn't even controlled and is legal.. I feel like laws were broken to make that happen.
So depending on your state, actually, you may be safer than others. Blueberry Panic, what state are you in?
As someone who has bought drugs off the dark web (controlled illegal substances) and ship them straight to my house under my name. It just seems so weird to me.
In the US, it is a
felony to open another person's mail (sometimes even with permission) so unless there is good or obvious reason that you're shipping something illegal (like it stinks of weed or has a specific shape) you should be good, especially if it's well hidden.
Shipping overseas is a little bit riskier but again if it's well hidden, and it doesn't show up in a metal detector or something weird like that then you should be good. Overseas mail is different from the TSA again due to the same US privacy laws with opening another person's mail.
A PO box would probably be best
I really think the owner of the DMC should invest in hiding the sn in decoys like darkweb drug dealers do (had a guy hide one in a guitar amp once lol)
And he should consider shipping from various return addresses. He's not some small independent vendor so his address is clearly known by US authorities now.
But considering SN isn't illegal.. again it's just so weird to me.
I guess they may be trying to get you for ordering it "wrongly" (like you're not a food business or a university) but every US person who's been checked says that the SN was not taken from them which should make sense because it's not a controlled substance and it's shipping is not outright illegal so the discrepancies are very very strange.
either some of the US residents saying they got checked are bad actors (unlikely) or laws were broken to get to them.
