Hello!

I've already invested around 2k into my CTB method. But I would like to have SN on hand for backup. If anyone is willing to share a safer source that ships to the US, hit a girl up! Ty.

So rich you can drop $2k into leaving. I wish I had such resources. I asked for SN and it was $200 which I didn't have as working and poor. I have 2 jobs now and still barely afford to live in America.

SN isn't affordable to me at $200 excluding shipping & other med costs. I have bills & a family to help! I wanted to jump off a bridge as low cost but couldn't after taking a sleeping pill too. $2k means a gun and more. I'm poor so I have less options.

"rich" is far from the truth. I spent my rent, car insurance and health insurance money to obtain my CTB materials. Plus I've been busting out 90 HOUR WEEKS. Do you think I'd be working this much if I was "rich?"

I've literally let men do anything they have wanted to me for ten years just to afford to live in the ghetto parts of America.

And no, I do not like guns so no guns involved.

Also the sources I have been sent since this post, thr SN is not being sold for anywhere near $200.

I'm not really sure what the point of your comment was. But stereotyping somebody based on an assumption is super
Lame. Especially when it's far off from the truth.

Honestly I have no idea how ppl perceive 2k to be "rich ppl money" when 99% of workers in first-world countries can save 2k within 6 months. Don't spend like crazy and save like crazy and 2k is easy to save.

Even as a "first-world" country, a lot of Americans don't have emergency funds. "Don't spend money, just save", this is dated advice as inflation had not kept up with wages. People are working multiple jobs and barely getting by. I'm privileged enough to acknowledge this issue and not shame others on not being able to afford a living. It's fucked.

I don't think this guy meant to label you, but he was recognizing how money can provide you better options to CTB.

I am sorry but you are cherry-picking a tiny tiny TINY minority of ppl who cannot save 2k in 6 months. Data is clear about the average low income and average *reasonable* spending rates—I say "reasonable" because spending on drugs, alcohol and other unnecessary things doesn't count if your goal is to save 2k within 6 months. And, yes, you can absolutely save 2k within 6 months. That's $75 bucks a week. So let's not be making up some BS about "shaming", pointing outs facts is not shaming.

Not cherry picking anything, this is recent data. You can't just turn a blind eye on contributing factors. $75 a week could be someone's portion of rent, groceries, etc. All I'm saying is that the middle class is shrinking. And you clearly read the guy's post of how he can barely afford anything AND is working multiple jobs. "Pfft, why can't he just save $75 a week" is a very ignorant, but mostly insensitive claim to make given the context.

You started your reply claiming not to cherry-pick but end up cherry-picking by the end of your reply 🤦‍♂️.
Also, not once did you actually deal with the argument I made, a typical sign of someone who wants to BE right rather than figure out what IS right.
Quick reminder: 99% of first-world workers can save 2k in 6 months, so cherry-picking the other 1% is not a counter-argument. Also, it is important to take into account spending habits—e.g. many blacks in the U.S. struggle with bills but end up with a Mercedes/BMW or other expensive cars that they lease or finance, that is not reasonable spending and thus does not count either—hence why I stressed to keep in mind *REASONABLE* spending habits, which is another point you ignore.
Lastly, my whole argument was focused on the false claim that having 2k saved is *RICH* ppl money, when any low-income worker can save that amount if spending is limited and they save, and on this point 6 months is not the limit, we can say "yes you can save 2k in 2 years as a low-income worker" and it would 100% validate my point.

Anyways, I am not here to argue, so if you keep ignoring the actual argument and just want to be right, enjoy it, as I won't respond anymore.

I'm just pointing out that your data is skewed but we can agree to disagree. :)

CO + tent
So I was looking for SN and was told they don't have any to deliver to the US unless you need it for your company but not to residential. At least you have a better plan unlike me!

There are a few US residential sources ;)

Honestly CO sounds like a much better plan for me personally. Alone in nature.. surrounded by beauty.. VERY quick and painless if done right.

But I rly like having back up plans :)

Jeezus the topic about people being able to afford things as long as you save is highly ignorant as fuck. Completely ignoring the many factors that can cause MANY individuals with and without families to not be able to spend enough beyond bills. It's not as simple as 'saving up' for a lot of people. Also, the examples being given out are VERY specific that it IS cherry picking. It sounds like the examples given are just the one or two experiences you've seen out near your street -- examples turned into a generalization.
"Oh, that one black person has a BMW. He's supposed to be poor and saving money but he spent it on an expensive car anyway."
The fuck is wrong with the people in here.

Anyways. Going back to the topic.

I don't know a US source. Only one from another country. Maybe someone else will give it to you. If not, I may or may not help with it as after what happened to the said source, I hesitate a bit sharing it now. I'll see what's up still.

There is a lot involved in this method.. including a $600 meter so.

Literally if everyone could just stop posting off topic bs that would be great.

Also, tents are expensive iirc. If possible, at the risk of sounding like an NPC, I would be super happy if someone could share any of these sources for the computer illiterate among us. It would be appreciated.

Also, I think if you land on CTB and cannot be convinced otherwise then going where you feel the most comfortable is best.

Sorry, in a DM of course. 🙏
