I still have SN from 2019 but i remember it being yellowish and now i look at it its white, i'm afraid that its oxidized somehow.
How can i test it? i read that the blood test gives the same result for both nitrite and nitrate, both make it turn brown.
would drinking 1 gram work? if i fell asleep that would mean it works, right?

you might even die from 1g, or cause other serious issues, it's not work the risk.
get some aquarium test strips, that way you can at least test if it's still nitrite if thats what ure worried about, idk if it can turn into nitrate by itself even and I remember someone mentioning that it should be good for probably tens of years if properly stored.

otherwise you might wanna ask "our resident chemist", in their introduction thread
