I'm a 48-year-old woman with a summa cum laude in communications, and straight A's in two grad school programs that included creative writing, post-colonial literature, cultural and semiotic theory, and discourse analysis.
Do you need any more schooling today? I've still got a few openings in my schedule. Although I'd prefer to keep it to the topic of this thread. Perhaps you'd care to revisit the debate you dropped or start a new one.

This is ridiculous as we are meant to be a community helping each other. You spoke about power but surely listing your qualifications was to put yourself above others with almost intellectual snobbery? This forum is surely not about who has the most qualifications. We are all doing not so well and thats why we are here. You are clearly very intelligent but the person before was obviously joking and you didnt take it that way. Dosage vs body weight
On the successful and unsuccessful list, body weight is not known. obviously something to be aware of especially on the topic of vomiting. hoping someone with decent information can chime in

Those 2 posts seem overall to point towards 100mg per kg as a lethal dose (and this number is mentioned in Stan's guide).
The second post suggests doubling that to 200mg per kg.
PPH states : 25g, or 35g if bodyweight > 100kg
Stan's guide states : 20g in 50ml water for regular size person / 25g in 50ml water for large person
It's probably reasonable to use 100kg for "large".
So that points towards 250mg per kg
You can think of that as a "very lethal dose", which translates into reliability.

Dear members,
I think we have another two members who successfully ctb by the SN method. I chatted with both of them and after they allegedly took it, they went silent and haven't logged in since. Out of respect for them I am not giving away their usernames but this could only be of use for those doubting the method, including myself. I hope they found peace!

Unsuccessul SN attemps most of the time were people had been discovered and rescued, or people asking themselves for help after drinking. Read about one testimonial were a man drank and woke up the day after
Obviously there can be all sorts of temporary effects, but are we aware of lasting damage ?

Have you ever had an operation under general anaesthesia? I had several, I can assure you I did not feel anything AT ALL while I was unsconscious, and they were butchering away on my body parts....so I think it's safe to assume that once you've fallen unconscious, even if painful things happen to the body, since the brain cannot register them there is no pain felt.

Correctamundo, that is literally the whole point of becoming unconscious. Also why humans faint and/or go into shock under extreme pain. To protect them. Also why humans go unconscious under hypoxic conditions, both to get them horizontal and increase bloodflow to the brain, as well as decrease oxygen requirements.

I read for a different but similar method that it's better to sit up rather than lie down. Do you think with SN that one would lose consciousness more quicky if they were sitting up?

Not sure, I think the difference would be negligible in the grand scheme of things.
