Help SN Storing and Purity?

So I finally got my SN (99+%) but now I'm unsure about how to store it?

I've also made the accident of deciding to open the lid to see inside and I'm not sure me opting it makes the shelf life worse or not?

And lastly how should I check it is *true* SN at the written purity?

Ideally you should test your SN using a test strip or reagent kit if you're curious about purity. I'd advise keeping SN stored in a cool dry place. And keep the lid close as much as you can

What would happen in theory if I can't test it and it turns out the SN was fake/wrong purity anyways?

Edit: btw how should SN look like?
It looks like more coarse/clumpy light-yellow salt on my end?

Also would this change if I store not correctly or how do I know I stored it wrongly/went past shelf life?

It's hard to say really, your attempt could possibly fail, or take longer to succeed. I'm not entirely sure.

Yes opening it will affect the shelf life heavily, get an airtight container and put the sn in that.

Dammit, how bad are we talking about though?

Some sources say SN technically has a infinite shelf life while other says it looses Lethality and I'm not sure which is correct even or what a good way it is to know once SN has passed shelf life already.
