I got some time ago 100g SN in a vacuum sealed aluminum bag, which I put into a freezer (I store all raw chemical/pharma powders in the freezer so the last longer), I was thinking of already opening the bag and aliquoting 20g in 2 falcon tubes of 50mL respectively already so that if I ever need it I only need to put water in and shake. However I am worried about some posts on this site talking about instability of SN (when in contact with air). I thought that SN is very stable if one keeps it air tight sealed in a cool room protected from sun light - or was I wrong?
