Isn't that normal salt with sodium nitirite in it? In theory you should be able to extract it I think.
On the official site of the product Purity level information of nitrite salt: Sodium Chloride: 99.35% – Sodium Nitrite 0.6% (NaNo2 0.6%) /Sodium Chloride = NaCl = table salt
Steps:
1. Dissolve the Mixture: Mix the solid mixture of sodium nitrite and sodium chloride in water. Sodium nitrite is more soluble in water than sodium chloride.
Filtration: Filter the solution to remove any undissolved sodium chloride. The sodium chloride will remain as a solid residue on the filter paper.
Evaporate the Water: Heat the filtered solution to evaporate the water. As the water evaporates, sodium nitrite will crystallize out of the solution.
Collect the Crystals: Once most of the water has evaporated, collect the sodium nitrite crystals formed.
However, you need a lot of the linked product to collect the required amount, so it's expensive.
