How do I purchase SN in the UK? Seems they only sell to educational establishments and no private addresses. Ridiculous.

The fact I can't even get my hands on it makes me want to end it even more. How depressing. And they call this "freedom".

It's sodium nitrite that's required not nitrate.

Have you tried to purchase from this legit looking site? Because I guarantee they don't sell to private users at domestic addresses for a start.

As I said above, it's Sodium Nitrite that is required not Nitrate, two different compounds, you're looking for NaNO₂.

ok I could see how many would mistake it for what they need actually states sodium nitrate 99% purity, actually not my chosen method anyhow just considering a back up plan

A lot of people do, recently someone ingested a large amount of Nitrate instead of Nitrite not realising and of course nothing happened, well they didn't CTB anyway, however I would imagine it would still cause a lot of discomfort and potential issues down the line.

I am from the UK too and yes SN and other ingredients needed for this method are extremely hard to get. I would suggest perhaps looking at an alternative way of CTB. I plan on the inert gas method as all components are easy to get in the UK but requires a little setup and understanding but then again, SN requires following a recipe to CTB correctly.

Look for sources abroad. Portugal or Poland. They won't deliver to the UK but you can use a mail forwarding service and get it delivered it to you that way. One thing to consider is how they package it and if it would lead to a welfare check.

They monitor anyone attempting to purchase heavily restricted chemicals that could be used to manufacture things that go boom. SN meets that criteria.

I found a few sources being talked about on the discord server, I also saw a couple on here in threads where they mention where they got it from and only abbreviated the vowels, which was easy to work out. Also seen pictures of bottles that have the label on and saw what brand which can be googled.
