Does it mean that in a glass there should be 50 miligrams of SN dissolved in 100 miligrams of pure water ?

Nope. It means 25gm of SN dissolved into 50/100ml of water.

yes. You take 25 grams of SN and dissolve it in either 50 OR 100ml water

Another place recommends 2 oz water with 30 mgs and just shoot it. Drinking 100 ml water is a lot for something all salt. IMO.
