I prob had lesser than 12g because the solution was too salty to finish. I'm over a 100kilos and that was enough to possibly kill me without intervention. Doc said I was grey when I was brought into the ED and rapidly lose consciousness. Antidote was administered within 3 hours of ingestion and my SPO2 had gone down to 80, which was critical.

This makes sense to me. Someone who failed with SN claimed to experience a "nightmare trip" before coming to.
Because it doesn't stop you from breathing. Your blood remains full of oxygen. You never feel out of breath or like you're suffocating. SN stops your blood from releasing it's oxygen to your body's cells. Therefore, you end up losing conciousness once your brain doesn't get enough oxygen.

Hi if you follow the rules written in the PPH, death is safe and quiet. You need antiemetics + antacids + propanolol that eliminate tachycardia. Then the right dose of nitrite. Nitrite already induces a state of unconsciousness, some sedatives should be taken to reduce the excitability of the brain.
Hi, suffocation is in many ways. Okay, no choking problem. The problem is not to suffocate when you are not deeply unconscious. Those nightmares that someone described when he tried to commit suicide with nitrite are from unconsciousness that was not deep. If someone is afraid that they will vomit because of the sedatives, they can take one more metoclopramide pill.
Before SN you can take codeine + benzodiazepines for a short time, which takes effect in 10 minutes. Taken together, the unconscious will be deep. After you took the SN, how long did it take for you to pass out? Given that you probably would have died if you would have not had any intervention, how painful overall was the Sn experience (0-10, 0 being no pain and 10 being unbearable)?
Also, do you think wearing the mask made the gasping for air worse? I know I've worn a mask in a hospital as a patient (had stomach issues from covid) and I couldn't breathe at all and I felt like I was gonna pass out, so I am wondering if the gasping for air maybe had something to do with the mask you wore.
It took slightly over half hour to pass out. The mask did make gasping trickier but it would have happened without the mask.

SN isn't anywhere near has peaceful has it has been made out to be in the peaceful handbook based on what alot of reports have said on this website thats why i'm waiting to get N
It's not painful but slightly uncomfy when a person is going grey due to hypoxia.

i've read someone say it was complete hell not being able to breath gasping for air for like a hour before passing out
I eventually did pass out and based on what I remembered, it wasn't painful. It was slightly uncomfy yes.
But I recall you said you did seek help - it must have been bad enough that your SI took over or the discomfort was so great you had to get help.Tarchycardia is tricky when one is not lying in bed comfortably. Plus I took it impulsively and stupidly. I won't be making the same mistake twice.

And what we are saying here is that this bad experience was likely without any Benzos, or something to induce sleep.
Any method can be botched badly... that doesn't mean SN overall isn't a relatively peaceful method.

this. I read someone's very detailed account, on this site, which included several seizures and the person muttering obscenities the entire time. I could be wrong, but I don't feel a peaceful process results in a person muttering obscenities for a significant period of time.
I don't think I struggle very badly though I remembered I kept saying heart hurts because of the tarchycardia.
That's the thing, people say as long as you follow Stan's guide, death is almost certain at a relative level of peacefulness. But the truth is, the greatest variable is the human body. Each person is different - some people lose consciousness very quickly, some don't vomit easily, some people's biology are better at neutralizing SN etc. So no matter how well prepared you are, the fact is, you're taking a chance consuming a poison like SN.
I would love to get my hands on N if I didn't live in a country with ultra strict customs.

It is not good to believe in some methods that they are peaceful. Remember that PPH also added cyanide as a peaceful method. But cyanide kills you in 15 minutes with terrible suffering. Remember that the PPH manual was also modified, at first it said that the dose of propanolol is 2 g, then 1 g, then 800 mg together with propanolol. It's best not to rely on numbers

Nitrite does not kill like cyanide or sodium azide. It has a different mechanism, "methemoglobinemia", it does not allow oxygen to reach the brain. Because of this are those unpleasant symptoms, agitation, skin discoloration, rapid heartbeat, "tachycardia" and shortness of breath. Propanolol makes you lose consciousness faster and this is true, because it interrupts the signal that reaches the heart from the brain. This means that the time until the loss of consciousness is shorter but the suffering remains more intense. Ok propanolol is good for the heart. Now all you have to do is take a strong sedative (narcotic). But unfortunately it is only given by prescription, do not think that if you took an ativan pill or other benzo sleeping pill you will not suffer anything, they produce a hypnotic sleep, so you will wake up if the breathing is accelerated and the heartbeat

Barbiturates are hypnocoercive sleeping pills, which means they cause sleep and you don't wake up, no matter what happens to your body, and they are dose dependent, meaning a high dose causes death. From benzo you can wake up, they are hypnoinducing sleeping pills that promote sleep, they are not like barbiturates.N
Nobody prescribed barbiturates anymore. If they did people wouldn't be getting N. Barbiturates are basically phased out now.

Only phenobarbital is rarely used for epilepsy. Thiopental is replaced by propofol for anesthesia

I will be taking SN with anti-sickness tablets, benzos, xanax, painkillers and a sleeping tablet. I just want to be really relaxed before I take it because SN is a poison. Of course Nembutal would be better but beggars can't be choosers. People should just be grateful if they have access to any of this stuff (like I am). No way could I do another full year of this hell on earth.

It is not milligrams. It is GRAMS. GRAMS!!!! You need to look into Stan's guide on this site and electronic kitchen scales are advisable.
