Is it possible to mix SN in isotonic drinks especially non-carbonated? Im thinking it helps mask the taste of SN and helps fast absorption as these are all electrolytes.

idk the answer to that but i still would stay safe with using tap water because many users used that

i found this thread which doesn't say much, but it seems like tap water is preferable.
https://sanctioned-suicide.net/threads/does-tap-water-have-electrolytes.54051/#post-986821

actually i'm not sure. stans guide says to use plain water though.

I see. Regardless if there's carbonation or not, these types of drinks are still acidic.

The recommended way to mask the taste of SN is a really strong mint or a flavor drop.

I'm no expert on mints but you should make sure it's not a mild flavor. The point is to numb the tastebuds.

Oh I see. I'll try those strong peppermint drops then. I tried chocolate last night, it was also effective masking the after taste. However, Im still looking for ways how to mask the SN drink itself. I feel there is a way.

Edit: upon further research, I have read that coconut water is alkaline. This feels like a good prospect. Will try and see how it goes.

What do you think made your first attempt fail?

And i assume there was no unbearable pain also , maybe just discomfort?

Heeey. I have written the possible things that caused the attempt to fail in my goodbye thread. As for the pain, hmmm... If being thirsty, world spinning, and fast heartbeat is a pain then thsts it. What was painful for me was the headache though but I think it was because the painkillers were losing its potency. You also need to take into consideration that I only had a sip of SN. If I was able to down it all, I would have been unconscious not to feel the symptoms stated above. Im sorry Im reluctant to give my location.but as for the reliability of my SN, I didnt care already. Saw some seller advertising it in the "alladin" website so I grabbed the chance. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Thanks. i actually thought of testing sn for me that way taking a sip or small amount . and then if i get similar results to yours or i feel something happening with a small amount then that will give me confidence that when i down the whole 25 grams that i will do the job for me that i want. i guess the trick is taking a small enough amount say 300 mg to start and increasing it to get any effect.for example if i feel something with 300mg that's a 1/3 of a gram then i know 25 grams will do the job yay no more risk of accident pain or disease forever for me.

I'm in the USA but i guess there are some reliable sources left. but of course you don't have to or should give your country.

alladin website? not sure what that is . but if it's ok can you PM me that website. but if not i understand .

Be careful though. Even small amounts can incapacitate you. Had that mistake, went downstairs to grab some chocolate after taking a sip of SN. Nearly crashed my face to the fridge door when it took effect. As for the website, its a chinese company owned by one of the wealthiest chinese magnate.

Sodium bicarbonate, commonly known as baking soda and one famous brand name is Arm&Hammer, is very cheap, available in any grocery store, and was commonly used in the olden days to treat stomach acid, indigestion, GERD. So, it has a reasonable degree of safety.

It's rarely used as an antacid these days due to its high sodium content, 10 g of baking soda is around 100% of the maximum daily allowance of sodium recommended in the USA. But, many people habitually consume way more sodium than this level.

Anyway, I expect baking soda would produce a similar high saltiness taste as SN, so you could use it to test different remedies to your problem or prepare or condition oneself for the saltiness. However, I would expect a difference in how SN upsets one's stomach. So, I'm just talking about using baking soda to learn how to manage drinking something with a very salty taste.

Consuming too much sodium especially long-term has very harmful health effects, but for short-term experiments shouldn't cause problems for most people. Of course, don't overdo it and take too much in a short period of time. If you already have problems with sodium, you need to use your best judgment.

Also, since sodium bicarbonate is marketed in many different products, one would want to make certain there is nothing extra, no other chemicals added to it. Arm&Hammer seems to refer to this as pure baking soda, but check the label. It should have only one ingredient, sodium bicarbonate.

If you try it, it'd be interesting to know how it's saltiness compares to SN.

Thanks! It seems SN does have a similar taste with baking soda. I will try experimenting with coconut water and baking soda if its palatable. My goal is to have a comfortable way of taking SN without having to dread its saltiness.

Edit: Will scoure the stores if there are coconut water sold. As for now, I just came up with trying flavored water. :))

A big part of the problem may be that the high saltiness, which one doesn't experience in normal eating, comes at a very bad time, when one is particularly vulnerable and unexpected surprises are not helpful at all.

If you practice a few times with sodium bicarbonate, at doses commonly used to neutralize stomach acid, you're probably going to be a lot less surprised and bothered with the saltiness when taking SN.

When the uncomfortable surprise is eliminated, has been dealt with, one may find flavorings aren't as needed.

Hmmmm I already expected the saltiness of SN however, the taste is just discouraging and can induce gag reflex. I am trying to find ways to make it more palatable.
