Yesterday afternoon, I opened the SN in the zipper bag and tested it. I am concerned that it will become nitrates when exposed to air. If I do CTB within a week, is SN okay?

It is a fairly stable chemical, if you are worried you could fill the container with inert gas to stop the oxidization. During this time it is very important to try to do anything and everything you can to better yourself. My suggestion is a trip, or if you cant afford too much transit try camping.
