SN or buy a gun

Hey guys. If I don't land this really big job opportunity this Friday I'm going to ctb. I've worked hard these last 5 years to change my life. I'm supposed to graduate college April 27 . So I really want this big job so I can start a good life for myself but if my past bad choices prevent the opportunity from going through I'm just gonna give up .. there's a lot more to what I'm feeling but I don't wanna post it. I just want to know if I shoul leave just buy a gun and shoot myself or purchase SN and ctb that way. Advice??

I'd wait until a few years after college. I'm a sophomore in college right now and really want to die but my sister felt the same way when she was my age and is now doing a lot better. I wouldn't give up just because you don't get this specific job and would wait a bit. As much as I want to die I'm gonna wait a few years after college to do it just in case stuff gets better. By the way congratulations on being almost done with college. I know how hard it is getting through it with suicidal thoughts and I hope the best for you. Don't let one job be the deciding factor on whether or not you go through with suicide as life often takes people in interesting ways. Also if you ever wanna talk just hit me up in the chat.

I don't think being (possibly) declined for a job with one company is a very scientific method for deciding whether your past mistakes will haunt you forever. Especially because loads of people get denied their first big awesome job opportunity straight out of college. It's just not realistic to get the best job right after graduation. Some people pull it off, but it's not the majority. So you very well may be rejected for reasons having zero to do with your past mistakes.

Your admirable hard work over the last 5 years WILL result in exciting things, but pinning "success" to one specific decision (which is out of your control) and thereby pinning your life on that decision is simply destined to end poorly. I'm sorry. I think you should come up with some different parameters to measure things and choose whether to live or not based on more realistic assessments of yourself. I think you've got good things coming to you and you deserve to determine that effectively.

If I were you, I would definitely choose SN. Because if SN fails, there will be, as i heard, almost no consequences. But if gun fails…

I would probably stand on a chair with the gun loaded, noose around my neck, drink the SN, then quickly shoot myself in the head - one or all of them should work.

But I also think that CTB at one job opportunity loss after studying for 5 years is a bit of a knee-jerk reaction.

I saw a gruesome video where a man failed to shoot himself. He was missing the upper part of his head. No eyes, no hair. No nose. Even no mouth, just teeth. A screaming bloody hole. I'm saying this not to show how eDgY i am, the point i'm trying to make is — imagine, the gun fails and then you vomit SN. That… would be awful. Please be careful and precise.

In that scenario maybe it would be better to shoot yourself in the heart, if you have a hand-gun, so even if you miss your heart, you'd still hang - whereas if you shoot the back of your head off, that could affect the efficacy of the hanging

Yeah, but why wouldn't you just use SN? Gun leaves you damaged, hanging leaves you damaged. Why wouldn't you use the only safe option? and it's pretty reliable too

SN. You highly likely not going to be able to kill yourself properly with a gun and can just end up in vegetable state. At least with SN there is no severe health damage if you fail and you can try over and over until you'll succeed.
Plus if you have access to the gun I assume you live in the US meaning you can also order N which is way better than SN and not going to fail unless you puke it out.
Consider that instead of SN.

I suggest analyzing various factors like the financial costs of obtaining SN vs. a gun and additional tools; the time it takes to obtain them, where you can obtain them, the location of where you will CTB, the timing of your CTB, the chances of being discovered, how long it will take for others to recognize your absence, transporting a gun vs SN, ect. Definitely check your local and state gun laws and fees for permits and/or licenses. Your criminal background will be examined whenever you apply for gun ownership. Like every major decision, the more planning and consideration you put into it, the greater chances of your success.

The gun method sounds terrifying to me personally. I know that I could never ctb that way. If I ever had access to it I would be scared of it going wrong. I'm sorry that you are in this situation. I wish you the best in whatever you decide to do.
