Help SN mixture sat for two weeks—still good?

Hello, I'm sorry if this has already been discussed (I couldn't find it. I also read through the SN megathread and the PPH but I couldn't see anything about leaving the SN mixture out). I made my SN drink about two weeks ago, but my sister went to the hospital and I had to leave town to take care of her. Before I left, I poured my two servings into a clean pickle jar and sealed it. I did not put it in the fridge, but left it in a cool, dry place.
Is it still okay to drink/still potent? Or do I need to make fresh ones?

From what I've read, SN in water only lasts a couple hours. I would make a fresh batch

Although, I do believe the "couple hours" applied to if the SN mixture was sitting in open air, as it would oxidize and the nitrite would turn to nitrate. Not sure about if the container was sealed though. However, I would not risk it and just make a new batch, as it sounds like you have more SN available

Ah I read about the oxidation but didn't fully understand. You are right, it is better to be safe than sorry. Thank you so much for your replies, it means a lot to me

The sticky thread atop about sn stability shows an aquarium strip test result of sn that's been sitting in a bottle of tap water with a cap on for almost a year which disproves the notion that prepared sn drink needs to be consumed asap, so a couple of weeks should be fine but if there is spare sn powder, better to just use that.
