SN method with dogs present

So it looks like I may be going the SN route soon. I have a large home and live alone with 2 dogs. Now I'm deathly afraid of them in the house with this stuff!

I don't blame you, I also worry about mine…can you board them somewhere or go to a hotel/Airbnb yourself? Or just make sure they can't enter the room with the SN?

I could but I really want to die in my own bed. I know it's greedy but it gives me comfort. I guess I will put them in there room downstairs and put the gate up. Warn my friend who will take them to not let them up here. Ugh

Why can't you just lock the door to your room

I can but I'm just worried about when I'm found. The empty cups will still be here. Just have to warn my friend and tell him what I'm gonna do.

Personally I wouldn't tell your friend right before or as you're doing it.

Maybe a simple note taped on your locked bedroom door that says something like "poisoned cups and drinks, please do not allow the dogs inside" ?

I know. It does pose a risk that he would call for help. Fortunately he knows of my dislike of living and I trust him not to hurt me. Signs are a good idea though. Other people may need the warning as well. Thank you
