He sure prescribed you alot of things just for saying you got nausea. Thanks a lot!
I have another question: I tried to get tagamet by going to the doctor and telling him that I have stomach issues and nausea. He gave me a prescription for the following and I did quick google searches on them.
metronidazole - an antibiotic so probably useless
pinaverium bromide - calcium channel blocker for bowel movements so may be useless
Trimebutine - treats IBS so may be useless.
Lafutidine - "histamine H2-receptor antagonist, inhibits distention-induced gastric acid secretion" so this may be a substitute for tagamet?
So other than lafutidine, I may have to throw everything else away.
Other than an OTC antacid, I have everything it seems.
I got my SN, antiemetic (domperidone), and a tagamet subsitute.
About lafutidine:
Description
Lafutidine is an effective medicine that is used to reduce the amount of acid produced in the stomach. It is used to treat stomach acid-related disorders such as gastroduodenal ulcers, gastric mucosal lesions, etc. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients below 18 years of age.
It lowers acid so i believe it will help. You can try reading in that guide about the types of antacids and how do they work to see if it will help you or not, but my belief is that it would help. Less acid means better outcome, for us. More acid means possible failure.
I hope someone else will know more. If im wrong in any way, then im sorry. Do research well tho. No point in risking it with sn.
