Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I hear ya. I'm older likely but when I was in my late 20s, my mom and brother found out my plans to CTB (cuz I was stupid and had an online journal they found) and had a court order for the cops to pick me up and be seen at the ER by a psychiatrist. Was committed to the hospital the first time, lied my way out the second.
