SN blood test

I got my SN 3/4 months ago and I didn't open it till like a month ago. I assumed the bottle would be sealed, but turned out it wasn't. I immediately put the SN in an airtight container.

I did a blood test today to see if it would still be pure enough. The blood turned into this brownish color immediately, so I guess that means it's still pure enough? Can someone please confirm? I want to be 100% sure it's good enough when I take it.

Trivial question. How did you do the bloodtest. Did you just cut yourself? And then what? What are the exact steps to do this test?

Just put a few drops of blood onto a bit of sn, if it all turns brown then it's good

I find a good blade for drawing blood if you have nothing other than stationary to be a pencil sharpener blade, you can uncsrew it. Then just quickly slash back and forth with it and it's sharp enough not to even hurt.
Though I advise against using the fingers, it makes quite a long cut and feels pretty unpleasant when you bend them. I did it on my thigh, an awkward place maybe but easy to conceal and you only need a tiny bit

I use a diabetes lancet, but it only gets like a drop of blood out. Not sure that's enough. I'm squeamish when it comes to pain/ cutting myself.
