I poked my finger with diabetic lancet and sprinkled SN over it.

That's the result.

+ added pics from other users for clearer comparison

NOTE: first 4 pics are MINE, others are from other users

What do you think, is this legit SN, good to go?

It quickly turned the blood within seconds

Part 1, (Warning mentions and pictures of blood and "sh")

Blood normally takes a long time to turn reddish-brown/black. First it stops becoming runny and becomes more clumped, then the rims start darkening and eventually it is all dry. The final color depends on where the blood pools, more blood, darker color. More blood, longer drying time.

The skin is thin on certain places on the body, it will effect how much blood comes out so it matters. I couldn't find much information about the amount of blood or how it normally dries out on fingertips.

So only one way to find out. No pain no gain, for science!

Prep: I went and made a small cut on my fingertip as a control, and a larger one. I stopped as soon as I hit the dermis. The hand was flat the whole time to not make gravity fuck up everything.

Seconds right after cut.
The blood appeared within seconds and acted like drops of water, it was a shiny bright red and reacted to gravity. The smaller cut did the same but was more flat and took a while to bleed.

3 minutes after. Still runny, more contrast.
The blood began to loose its shine but was still even when smeared, the color differences in the blood concentration is easier to see. The small cut is almost completely dry and brown.

5 mins after starting to clump.
The contrast between the blood concentrations are easy to see. The blood is losing it's shine and is not effected by gravity. The blood becomes sticky and the outside layer of the blood is more dried than the inside. The small cut is completely dry but can still be peeled off or moved.

10 mins after. Not as red anymore.
The blood starts to not be dome like and becomes more flat, it becomes a deep red with barely any shine. The smaller cut has hardly changed at all in appearance except it begins to solidify.

20 mins after, drying of ridges.
the edges of the blood are become almost black and everything turns darker. The thinner parts of the blood have almost disappeared, there are only tiny line left.

30 mins after, turning black.
The blood turns black more on the center it is barely even red and more brown. It losses more detail. If touched lightly, it won't stick or fall apart.

60 mins after. Beginning of scab formation, blood has dried.
It is now a more matte color and looks like dried paint. Eventually it will turn black if I just leave it alone. I can basically poke it all I want and it holds its shape.

I don't feel confident enough to say it is legit or not. This is just a test to see normal blood drying. Anything not acting like normal blood like the examples you showed are most likely to be sn.

Total time, ~2 hours.
Mine took just a few seconds to look the way it does in the pics I have attached

Blood darkened quickly

I assume it means my SN is legit...

I'm not familiar enough to say, you'd probably get a clearer result if you had the sn in a container or spoon like in the other pics and dropped blood onto that.

Well, I did open my SN bag twice already, I don't want to open it again 😒

People say as long as your blood turns darker quickly, then the blood test is passed

Made this post just to be sure 🤷

Do I REALLY need to do one? I already opened my bag TWICE. I am nervous as fuck. Sure I may get strips but isn't blood test alone enough? Some people don't even test SN at all...

What one user here advised and I have seen similar recommendations as well.

Been basing my test results off that
