SN: at home or in a hotel?

I'm planning to CTB soon, method:SN.

If I CTB at my apartment, where I live alone, the corpse will be discovered by my father, who has keys, and he'll be even more traumatized.

But if I CTB at a hotel, I feel to be interrupted/rescued somehow.

What do you think?

Id still do it at home if i was in your spot. Maybe id put note on door of a room i end up in as a warning. Atleast he would know what happened

Doing at home in familiar conditions will be easier in my opinion. U can send a delayed email or leave a note for ur dad outside ur room as suggested by AnxietyAttack44.

Personally I am going to do SN in a Hotel Room. In order to not be interrupted I'd suggest doing it anywhere from 10pm to midnight, that way no one should be entering your room for at least 10 hours which gives you plenty of time for you to pass away. If you are going to lie on the bed after drinking you should hang up a bed sheet near the entrance to your room and put a note on it saying that there is a dead body and to call emergency services so they wont get as traumatised. If you are going to do it in the bathroom put a note on the other side of the door alongside a chair to make sure the person doesn't burst in without reading the note and discover your body.

im going to a hotel when i do it, they usually have a do not disturb sign you can put up, so they wont knock or anything so i doubt you'd be found until the day youre meant to check out of the room, for the same reason as you i dont want my mum to be the person to find me

Around here suicide drops value of place where person died about 50%. Seems like a big drop to me

There were 2 people on here that partnered and ctb at an Airbnb in Scotland in December. I'm pretty sure it was them it was on the news.

Then, I won't CTB at my apartment. I can't do that to my relatives. But the truth is that I never heard about drops in the price in Spain due to CTB or sonething like that

Might not be everywhere, and thats only if buyers do know about it through seller or news. If its private most people here just "forget" to mention someone died there, unless its on news
