My SN is out for delivery today. I just got the notification on the Royal Mail website. I'm suddenly so terrified. Is there any possibility that the police could come? Could they potentially come after the package has arrived? Or does the fact that it went to Royal Mail straight away after arriving in the country mean it hasn't been flagged by anyone? It literally took 2 days from it arriving in the UK to being out for delivery, is that a good sign? I'm so scared.

I heard that in the UK they COULD do wellness checks, but that is the maximum that can happen apparently it is just an "are u okay? - yes I am" thing. But SN is not illegal, u will not be arrested or harmed for having it. Goodluck with everything

Thank you. I'm just scared because I'm currently serving a suspended sentence. My real name isn't on the package so hopefully it won't be flagged. I was just wondering if the fact the Royal Mail has it out for delivery today meant I was in the clear?

If you're worried, just do what people ordering drugs off the internet often do. Don't sign for it, take it in from the door and place it in the bin. If the police come, you can claim that you never opened it and it wasn't for you. Leave it there for a few hours or even the whole day.

Well since the package isn't in my real name I was thinking I could just say no one by that name lives at my address? It's shared housing so my housemates wouldn't recognise the name I gave. They might say "it might be the new guy" but I'm fairly sure they all know my name by now. God I'm so nervous. I've never done anything like this before.

I am not from the UK so I couldnt tell u for Royal Mail specifically, but generally if the tracking says out of delivery and doesnt say its stuck in customs or held or something similar, then you should be in the clear.

That's what I was thinking too but it just seems to good to be true. Like could something actually be going to plan for me? For once? I'm not home right now so I'm afraid I'll get home and there'll be a load of police outside.

Well that's good, you have plausible deniability then. Placing it in the bin would add a bit more to that. Because sometimes you can have a controlled delivery, that's what I've read from people ordering from the darknet. Definitely don't open it right away.

Oh I won't be opening it till I'm about to CTB. My issue with the bin is there is no communal area in my house. So the bin is in my bedroom which I feel is a red flag? And I really don't want to let them in my room.

Just act like it's not for you. Doesn't have to be a bin, but once you leave it unopened then you have plausible deniability as you can still say you have no idea what is in the package. I would wait maybe 24 hours if it was me.

It's pretty comedic actually, UK welfare checks are done by police officers, often young ones who have honestly no clue.
