I'd like to ask if using antacid is still reccomended for SN method?

Also, It says that a regular one from a pharmacy will work just fine, however from what I've read on other people's plans they were using a prescribed medication. Does it have any difference? Is the prescribed medication more effective, stronger? I've seen people use Dexlansoprazole, cimetidine which are prescribed ones, and Gaviscon, ranitidine which are available without. All of these have a different substance. I tried to do a research on that but I'm still confused, also making sure that I pick a med that reduces the stomach acid not changes it.
I'll be really thankful if anybody or even any pharmacist here can answer and help me out, maybe give me the names of most reccomended medicine.

Some people just don't know or choose to ignore it.
