Method SN and alcohol

I just drank alcohol (red whine) for the first time in my life and the taste was horrible! But anyways I was wondering if I could drink alcohol during my SN regime for a sedative effect(?) When and how much should I drink or shouldn't I drink it at all because the guide says no drinks 2 hours before.

You just have bought a cheap bottle, cause good red wine is one, if not the best option! If you drink it's just gonna increase the chance of puking.
