Slip knot

Hi all,
I am struggling with making basic knots. Can somebody be please send me a video on how to make a super simple slit knot. I tried watching a video called Jason's but the video was quick and I really didn't understand it. Also please make sure it is the correct slip knot used for hanging as apparently there are some videos which say slip knot but they aren't the correct slip knot. I am clueless on all of this but desperately want and need to CTB.

I wish I could help. Years ago, I practiced over and over doing a hangman's knot, then it seemed a slipknot was ok. I have one now, but to be honest, not sure I could duplicate it. I have a rope tied to a strong beam, with this slipknot, just ready, but I am really freaked out about hanging, and honestly wish the medical and psych professions would offer us more humane/less horrific options. [The rope I mentioned has been tied and ready for more than a year.]
Interesting trivia: I called a suicide hotline 3 times this year and mentioned this, but I wasn't committed. I think it's possible it's because things are changing, there are not enough beds/resources, and I'm considered a hopeless case who might as well kill myself, even if it's in a horrific way.

What a dream voluntary euthanasia would be. Alas, we suicides are the lowest of the low. If people cared what we think, we wouldn't be here.
