Sleeping pills are known to have a very low success rate. Pills, other than opiods, have a success rate of 1% or less in the u.s. This is not a reliable method.

I want to do it in the cold. The only method I have left is hypothermia.

I have seen some hypothermia cases in the news where I live where people were walking home drunk from bars and passed out in the cold and died from hypothermia- these were accidental deaths. Alcohol plus sleeping pills plus the cold could work if you were not discovered- of course there is a risk of being discovered partway way and you could lose body parts to frostbite and not ctb. I just searched online and they said you can die from hypothermia in as little as an hour, but it can take longer. If you are in water it can go faster, as fast as 15 minutes if the temperature is near freezing. It would take a strong willpower to get these situations to work considering how unpleasant it is to be so cold. It could be feasible but it seems very challenging to do- and what if you are rescued partway through and you lose your fingers and your feet and your nose to the cold but survive? You always need to consider- what if you are rescued partway through. It is likely a feasible method but with a lot of risk. Other methods may be better.

I know places in my nature where they will definitely not find me. I just want to understand if I don't sleep how awful it will be

if you do know places you won't be discovered that is helpful- I do think that avoiding the water is a good decision. So this plan could be feasible if done well- I do not know what the optimal temperature would be- cold enough that it will work but not so cold that you are miserahle while waiting to pass out. And of course what clothing to wear also matters. If planned out carefully it could be a method that would be feasible.
