No one considers this method? cutting your neck with a scalpel I don't think it's so painful since if you do it right in a few seconds you will bleed to death.
That if you have to find the right veins so the cut has to be deep, does anyone try?

But that not a bad idea. Maybe if someone have good knowledge in anatomy that will be useful

It's rumored that artery cutting is a popular suicide method among doctors. I imagine they would numb the area with lidocaine injections and then cut a major artery or vein. They could even take something good to take the edge off, taking into consideration whether it increases the risk of failure and whether that risk can be mitigated.

As yes! With the right equipment such as a scalpel that's designed to dissect skin. It won't be as painful. however everyone has their own method. Scalpels has a variety of different shapes and sizes that have their own job. I am studying the method of exsanguination since that is how I am going to CTB. You want to choose a scalpel that is fit for you. I currently have ordered a #10 scalpel which is the standard one doctors mostly use. I am going to study about the human anatomy for the brachial arteries, which is one of the arteries you should cut to bleed more/faster and pass out faster. That's around the arms however. More research to be done but that's as far as I know

well from what I read, stabbing the external carotid arteries then pulling out will lead to instant unconscious and death. its somewhere below the ear and 3cm deep. The blood would splurt out and you'd paint the room red. I don't ever recommend anyone doing it though, thats just what i read somewhere and it claims its painless, just thought incase you end up in a really bad situation ( like confinement and torture) and you've got no choice it might be something good to know.

It is a good idea in theory, but in practice stabbing your throat with a scalpel is not quite as easy as it sounds. That said cutting the arteries in the neck very much so would lead to a rapid death.

Yes I have heard stab in heart is effective (but please noone try this) and below the navel makes me shudder.............I just dont like the though of someone so sad and desperate to get out of this world, using such barbaric methods. This is why I have no method as of yet as either too many complications or too nasty.

Well, they are only opinions, I don't even think about killing myself for now, my method would be a short shotgun, you put it in your mouth and you blow your whole head.
Unfortunately, weapons are not legal in Europe and it is impossible for me to get one.

If, by "weapons" you mean guns, then you are misinformed.

In the UK alone, in round figures, there are three quarters of a million Firearm Certificates and Shotgun Certificates on issue, covering the possession in private hands of two million guns. This doesn't include stocks held by Registered Firearms Dealers.

Nearly all other European countries have higher rates of private ownership. Only Poland, Holland and Moldova have lower per capita rates.

These figures do not support your assertion that "weapons are not legal in Europe."

You'd really have to go deep there. The area just below the belly button tends to have a lot of fat, then a few layers of muscle before you get into anything that would be dangerous. I think it would be difficult to CTB by stabbing there.

I always found the method of cutting one's throat to be a pretty gruesome way to go. Perhaps you would lose consciousness quickly, perhaps you would die an agonizing death.

I hate to burst anyone's bubble but you'll likely not cut deep enough or hesitate to do the job properly and it'll be a miserable end. Cutting is a hardcore, gory method and without proper painkillers and a medical or paramedical background I would forego it completely.

Not to mention the sight you'll leave behind...

That sounds painful and would require a lot of courage. Assuming the scapel makes the cut painless it still requires a lot of bravery to put it to your throat and make the cut. I actually put a knife to my throat a day ago and thought about it but realized there's no guarantee I can make the full cut without dropping the knife due to fear or pain. It's not an easy thing to do for most people I would assume.

That's crazy,I was surprised to recently find out how high the suicide rate is amongst doctors..And they are pretty damn successful at it too.Very few failures.Stressful job with long ass hours.

I'm a pretty deep cutter, and I can say for sure that it would be nearly impossible to cut you own artery in your neck. The nerves near all that stuff would be killer.

you'd be far better off hacking the artery out of your arm. I've sliced into muscle as SH if I was in the mindset of leaving I could easily cut into a artery.

Another very effective method would be to cut your neck with a chainsaw, you can put it fixed somewhere and cut your head or stomach.

For starters they are most often in today's age disposable blades just like razors, and they are purposely dulled a little bit to give the surgeon more precise control through slight resistance. They don't want them to slice like a knife through hot butter.

The cut has to be strong and fast if you do not just hurt yourself a lot and a mark for a lifetime, this is a method that either becomes convinced and courageous or better not try.
