  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

i knew i can't trust anyone in my life. i didn't even mean to let her know, but i guess she's sharp and picked up on a few context clues from things i said. told me that i changed in her eyes and i was worried. it took so much in me to pretend like it was fine, like i was okay, because I know my sister would arrange for institutionalisation as soon as she finds out. she's younger than me, we're both adults, why is she messing with my life?? this seems to be the attitude of everyone around me... why can't I make my own decisions in life?? why can't I choose what to do with my own body? I'm so frustrated i don't know how to act anymore in fear she'll do it again.

best to cut her out closer to ctb. act like you're busy with work or something.

unless you're both in the same house then forget it.

I'm sorry this happened to you. Unfortunately I think you are going to have to act "fine" unless there's good reason that she's not going to do that again. (I do a lot of acting myself). 🤗

why is she messing with my life??
Probably cos she loves you.
It's a hard fact but it's best to accept it, your loved ones want you to stick around not because they like to chain you here or want control over your body, but because they want you to get better and they love you.

You still get to choose what to do. I don't know your situation or what has brought you to this. I am sorry it has regardless and that its making you having to act this much around ppl that care for you. It's painful and frustrating and I feel you. But I also see their side as understandable care. I wish it was easier but it doesn't tend to be.
Did the hotline tell you it was from your sister? did she or do you just guess? Also did you hang up or how did that go?

this is still a very selfish thing imo but unless she was suicidal herself she wouldn't understand I guess. these normies love to play the hero.

one good thing about living alone is no one to interfere with my exit when the time comes.

I dont know how this would even help from a practical standpoint since we can't tell what their sibling relationship is like also you cant blame his own sister for wanting to "play hero", people closest generally don't want anything bad to happen to us, even if it means from ourselves.

I agree just venting. all that makes sense. it just takes phenomenal effort to overcome SI and go through with an attempt. only to have it foiled and for you to start planning the next one.

I'm sorry you have to go through that, it's just so cruel to me how there's no acceptance towards the right to die, I see it as extreme cruelty forcing people to suffer in this existence they never even chose in the first place.

i didn't speak to the hotline myself, she just called and relayed information i guess. i refuse to speak to them and i only found out because she told me.

there's still some part of me that's telling me that she did it because she cares about me and is making me reconsider ctb, but since she's okay with breaching my boundaries it sort of broke a trust i had in her :/

Maybe it's a thing little sisters do. I've had mine do some things which I will never understand but seemed like attempts to "help". Really baffling. If anyone was sincerely looking for the best actors in the world, we're all right here.
