• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    👉 View the ledger here

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

    Donate via cryptocurrency:

I don't know how to beat SI.. everytime I start thinking about ctb, my SI kicks in pretty hard.

Thoughts like "you won't exist anymore, everything you know and have experienced will be gone forever, you'll never talk to your parents anymore etc." comes up right away and then my anxiety goes through the roof.

I don't get how people, who overcame their SI, did so..

If you're asked to choose between your two favorite foods, you're going to have a difficult time.
If you're trying to choose a movie to watch out of a thousand, you may end up choosing nothing.
If you only had one movie, the choice makes itself.

When there's nothing to salvage in your life, when there's no choice to make, when you have nothing to miss or lose, it becomes much easier.
I wrote about this in a thread called Doubting. It's about SI and not being able to complete from a place of compassion if you care to read it. It's a long post.

Alcohol or some kind of drug that allows you to loosen up in my experience and usually dampens my SI

It certainly is like the survival instinct just exists to prolong suffering and keep us trapped here, I find it so awful how it's so unnecessarily difficult to die, it really should be much more straightforward.

Do you want to be responsible for someone else's death?

If it mixes with your method to ctb then perhaps not
