I do view life as being a cruel mistake and I believe that life should have never been a thing in the first place as it's the cause of all suffering after all, but I only really care about ending my own misery, if other people want to live or die then it's nothing to do with me, I just want to permanently cease to exist and forget about this life. If humanity can survive long enough, one day we will have the technology to colonize other planets. There will be technologies that can address any problems future people might have. If a global nuclear exchange were to take place, every species on the earth would be affected. Horrifying genetic defects and mutations would occur. There can be no winners in such an exchange. NONE! I understand why some might want to end things right now, but please consider this, it could take 10,000 years for any sort of recovery. The genetic engineering sciences may one day allow each and everyone of us to be what we want to be, and live as normal people. The stars await us, there are thousands of planets that could support us. Poverty and disease could be eradicated, within the next 100 years. Imagine there could be whole planets and star systems, where whole races, religions, racial types, could have a place truly their own living as they see fit. Human lives might be extended to hundreds of years. So no please let's not nuke ourselves into some hellish future earth, please. Better things are coming.
