Should this be my last Christmas?

I'm thinking of ctbing after Christmas around January after I come back home from Poland. It'd be a nice reunion after not seeing my own family for so long. My grandma and dad also died around the same time frame so I'm wondering if this should be the last time I'll ever be with family again.
That's an incredibly personal decision to make, friend, but if you're considering it, why not just wait? Have a nice reunion with your family and see how things are going. If you have a specific reason to ctb early, then that's your decision.

Lol yeah, I suppose it's the irony maybe? It's the happiest time for some people, and the darkest time for others. It is what it is, I suppose
My reasons for ctbing are very complex I think. I was stalked around my late teens, currently going through a painful breakup from an abusive relationship, losing friends afterwards, my cat, grandmother, and father are all deceased, and my mom is getting older pretty soon so I don't think I can imagine life without her. I also had to drop out of college after being hospitalized and still seeking a job at 23 while processing my breakup.

Oh I'm so so sorry, friend. That sounds rough as hell. It really does come down to you though, I think. If you have the method ready to go though, then sticking around a bit can't hurt? That's what I'd do, at least. Either way, I hope you get what you're looking for, this Christmas.

A peaceful eternal rest for the holidays sounds nice. I want to say farewell to my entire family and possibly leave a note for my mom and brother back home, I'm not sure if I'll do it in my room or in a hotel though. It's complicated,

I fully get you, and that sounds like an idea. I've heard notes help with processing and closure too. One recommendation I'd have, I suppose, would be going with a hotel. It lessens the chances of your family finding your body and might help them reside in your home after the fact better. But then again, this way hotel staff would find you, so, not sure what the best option is.
