I think so? Going off them cold turkey could trigger some kind of mania and lead to doing something rash or even maybe landing you in the hospital depending what you do or how it effects you to stop taking them.

Anti depressant withdrawals can range from a bit of irritability to full on shakes, sweats, and uncontrollable rage, depending on the med and dose.

Depending on the medication that could be even more dangerous than just staying off of them after quitting cold turkey. If you've already taken yourself off of them it's safest to just stay off, and if you ever change your mind and decide to go back on, go to your doctor and let them know you took yourself off and they'll advise you of how to best restart them.
