I plan to CTB outside my apartment. I live alone and don't have emergency contacts. I don't have "next of kin" in my state or states nearby. I won't have the time and energy to get rid of all the stuff in my apartment.

Is there anything important I should mention in the note?

I don't care about what happens to my stuff. They can take whatever they want.

My method is handgun or SN (depends on luck). I don't want to traumatize staff, neighbors or any civilians.

I want to drive somewhere and do it in my car after covering it. The person who will find me would be either a cop (hopefully) or a car thief.

It's important leave a note for legal purposes. For example, if you don't leave a note saying it was ctb the police will probably have to open an investigation and consider your death as "suspicious" and screw your landlord.

I have a short note for the person who finds me. It will be inside my car (my ctb spot). I don't want an investigation! I want my death to be ruled quickly as suicide.

What do I need to write to my landlord? should I leave the same ctb note?

Even if they investigate, it becomes your landlords problem to empty your unit once you are gone. Having a will would give everyone an idea of your choices if you have specific wishes. Does your state or country have rules on property after death?
Dying somewhere else will make his life easier...no additional cleaning or explanation to prospective renters. That might be worth more than a note.

I don't have specific wishes. My apartment is small and there are no expensive items. I don't have critical assets.

My landlord is a big company with multiple apartment complexes. They also have a legal team.

I can't do a will because it is expensive and I don't have an executor.

I think the stuff goes to probate per state law. I don't understand legal stuff. They might try to reach out to some family members. I don't have a real relationship with them and I don't care

I wish my body and stuff could just disappear!

The building manager will likely be told to dispose of your stuff as they deem appropriate. Don't worry, it will go away.

I wish peace to you man, remember ctb is the most important decision of your "life" since you are deciding the end of it. So I wish you peace and reflection in these last moments.

:halo:

Depending where you live (in U.S.) you can just write on a piece of paper what you want. You can also go online and find examples of wills for your state.

Even a "dispose of my belongings as you see fit" could be helpful to getting the apartment cleared out quickly. If you've had no issues with the landlord, if it was me, I'd leave a note just to make anything that comes up easier.

I thought it would be polite to leave an explanatory note to the landlord, together with the rent you owe him (if any) or telling him what to do with the advance he owes you (if any).

Then I read your mention of the landlord being a big company managing multiple apartment complexes. The company probably wouldn't care and they'd just clear your things out. You're doing them a favour by planning to CTB outside the apartment, so they won't have to deal with any legal issues.

I guess you can leave a simple note saying that if you don't return to your apartment by a particular date and time, it can be assumed that you've caught the bus. You can also tell them what to do with your stuff.

It's very sad that it has come to this. :aw: I hope you've thought it out carefully and prepared thoroughly for it. I wish you the best and hope you find peace.

Thank you. I like the idea (if I don't come back...). It surves the purpose without mentioning ctb

I am still training, preparing and buying stuff. I am trying to finish and do it in March.

I don't care about my life anymore. The only difficulties are rehoming my dog and driving to ctb location. I have had fear of driving for many years
