Should I CTB now ?

I'm impatient at a psych ward for about 4 months now. I want to die badly but I want to wait until July 20th (Chester Bennington's death anniversary)
Method of choice would be night night method but I don't know how reliable it is. Does anyone know?
Should I CTB now? I don't think I can hold on much longer...

My stance on the subject is very strict. If you need to ask a bunch of internet anons if you should kill yourself (no matter when) then answer is hard no.
Suicide is a choice which must be made by you and you alone. Not a single human being should influence that decision as it is irreversible and affects your whole being. No exceptions, no take backs.

Not to mention that influencing one's decision in this regard is against forum rules.

Nobody here is going to encourage you to ctb here. It's against forum rules and is also illegal. Ultimately I agree with jadeith, questioning if you should do it and being unsure means you should probably stick around. I am pro choice however in your scenario I think trying therapy and other recovery options would be beneficial, and I think you should make the most out of your stay in the ward. The decision to ctb should never be made if you are even slightly uncertain.

I understand but they've already extended my stay even though I've "played nice"
Right now I feel so stressed that I cannot concentrate on most basic things even with the help of meds... so I don't know what to do anymore

I was a bit hasty in my original post but I definitely want to CTB, I am a bit confused right now so I guess that I wanted to have more grounded replies

Right. So sit tight & wait until you can. You can CTB if you want after you're released, until then, do nothing.

Then i'll repeat what DeathSweetDeath advised. Sit tight, wait it out, clear your mind and above all else - regain your freedom.
Then and only then give it another thought. If you decide it's time for you to leave - you will do it. If not - you will stay. No judgement, no pressure.
Remember, that's not a competition or a must and in this matter you owe nothing to anyone. After all that's the last thing you will ever do.

No one here will tell you when you should or shouldn't ctb, that's only something you can decide for yourself. In my opinion if you hold even a small amount of hesitation then just wait. There's no need to rush dying. I get that you're in immense pain and feel like you can't hold on anymore. But you should never go through with something like dying unless you're 100% sure you want to do it now.
