Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I ordered my sn from Czechia 3 ish months ago. When I received the sn I opened the bottle to check if the color is yellowish white. Since than I've opened the sn bottle for another 2 times for some reason.
Does sn tend to degrade with time when opened?

3-5 seconds
I don´t believe that much nitrite was converted to nitrate in 3-5 seconds. But I wonder why you keep opening it at all. To see if it is still there ? 🤔

sometimes i open mine when my circumstances are particularly trying. It's just comforting to be reminded that i have a way out— that i'm not completely trapped here (I do have a second, sealed bottle though).

Relax, Sn doesn't oxidize into Nitrate that fast, it's not a biologically active ingredient but a salt so keep it away from prolonged exposure to air and moisture and store in a cool dry place. Just make sure it's not exposed to air for too long and make sure you seal it back up airtight.
