I had a mother raising me who wanted nothing to do with me and was a baker for several years. She refused to ever teach me anything about baking as I grew up. Now I'm a better baker then her after spending years committing to learning it alone. I did it all in spite of her and the last time I was at a family gather and I brought baked sweets and mine were all taken and gone by the end while my mothers trays were half empty and I had never felt prouder of myself.

I loved swimming and going to the sauna as a child but my body decided to develop slight deformities when I was a teen and I came to be disgusted with how I look. At around 8th grade I started to pretend that I don't like swimming because I hated my body so much and would feel incredibly uncomfortable with other people if I wasn't fully dressed. I started wearing hoodies even on hot days during the summer. One time I went for a swim and to sauna after that and noticed that I had convinced even myself into disliking them.
