Don't give up yet in the throes of technology! The snippet of your photography with its introspection was tease enough to riot.

You can only post a max of 8 photos using the embedding function of SS. Nothing complicated. 2 ways (personally using the second one)

Each time before, position the mouse cursor around text, for placement of the insertion

1) With the control/format bar


2) At the bottom of the writing caption



Then again, below.

I wrote a simple poem. Let's call it "Abyss".


Despair – like fire, it stings in my heart
and freezes my ankles in place;
Making my mind travel singular paths,
then twisting it into a maze.

Hope that never surely was there
erased in the blink of an eye;
Darkness fills the empty space –
The light was a masked lie.

I lay down and think, shed tears and sink
into a deep black abyss;
Slowly but surely I get used to it
and give hope a goodbye kiss.

My lungs fill with water, but I won't drown,
I feel no pain at all;
The storm that once ravaged my burdened soul
is now only distant rainfall.

I feel no need to swim, gasp for air,
I feel like I'm having a dream.
But morning will come when we fall asleep,
and so my heart will once again scream.

Maybe so, but I still hate it. I've never been able to like anything I do. I've tried many things that I thought I might like, but I always end up being a failure in the end. It's alright.
